West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched an all out war against the central government asking her legislators to do the same
"We know how to run a government. The Central government is behaving strangely. We are also in majority and we know how to run a government. We are in support of Opposition candidate Meira Kumar because this is a fight of ideologies and we will vote for the same. This was also a vote in protest of ideologies. There are a lot of regional parties which are supporting the BJP. We request them to stay away from them. It will be beneficial for them because by doing this they will stand by the people."
She goes on to say, "We are victims of this politics. West Bengal is gateway to north east. If chicken neck area is compromised, Sikkim and Darjeeling are just next to each other. Central government has spoiled relations with all neighbouring countries and we are the biggest sufferers as we share border with them. China is interfering and we are suffering." She also blamed the Centre for inaction, "Hindu Vahini is giving training in Assam of how to operate guns. VHP is backing it and so are central agencies. Why is the NIA not investigating it. Hundreds of chinese school are opening near border. BSF and SSB are mute spectators? No action is being taken. Why? They cannot gain from riots and order CBI investigation against. We will rise high and stand by what we have said and done."
Claiming that no other party apart from the Trinamool Congress has the ability to taken on the BJP, Banerjee said, "BJP will use and throw these political parties which are supporting them now. TMC will be aggressive and we will raise the issue of gau rakshaks, riots, they should deal with their people and control them. The country is going back in all aspects. Why is the BJP silent on these issues. We are happy to go to jail. We are lions' cubs, we will fight it out and continue to roar."
