It seems the fight with high grade cancer is still not completely over for actor Sonali Bendre, who had returned home a few weeks ago after undergoing treatment in New York. The actor shared a new picture of herself while comfortably dressed in cotton pyjamas and with a drip in her hand and flashing her magical smile to the camera.
Sonali shared the picture with the caption, “Another kind of outfit and another kind of accessory... just a small pit stop from the roller coaster we call life! Back home and back to #MyNewNormal #OneDayAtATime #SwitchOnTheSunshine.”
Her friends have been a constant pillar of support throught her struggle with cancer. Sussanne Khan reacted to her post with a heartfelt wish, “Sonzyyy you are the most amazing person I have met.. my warrior princess so so proud of you.” Udaan actor Ronit Roy commented on her post, “Wish you a lifetime of love joy and sunshine”
Many of her followers also showered her with good wishes and prayers. A user wrote, “you are a brave girl..I m in love wid your smile..look so vibrant and positive....bless you wid lots love and happiness..yesterday I was watching original humma hummma and I was just thinking tht you have come so far...we often think celebrities have a glam life wid all the luxuries but we forget that everything comes wid a price and you people have your own challenges...you have shown tremendous courage and it will inspire lot of people for sure.” Another commented, “Keep up that spirit , not so easy after all!” Applauding her strength, one more user wrote, “You’re showing people how to actually live it ... The actor was recently spotted at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding reception in Mumbai. She had also featured in a special photo shoot for a fashion magazine proudly displaying scars received during cancer treatment. The actor had shared a picture from the shoot while inspiring her fans with the message, “Find your new normal”. She had returned to India in December for a “happy interval” and had mentioned in a post that her “fight is not yet over”.
